The mission at Deer Oaks is to provide the highest quality EAP, Work/Life, and Health and Wellness services to the employees, supervisors, manager, and directors of employer groups throughout North America. Deer Oaks strives to offer individually-tailored resources and solutions that will help improve employee well-being, workplace productivity, morale, and attendance; while reducing unnecessary medical claims, turnover, workplace conflict, substance abuse, and burnout.

As a provider for Deer Oaks, you will help us achieve our mission by delivering a high quality of assistance to employees and their employers. Providers will help employees and their family members with personal problems affecting their well-being and assist employers and supervisors with trainings to help them have a productive and stable workplace for their employees. Your contribution is vital to our success.

Credentialing Requirements

Deer Oaks EAP Services is committed to providing quality services to all EAP participants. In support of this commitment, providers must meet the following minimum credentialing criteria to participate in the Deer Oaks EAP Provider Network:

  1. Possession of a minimum of a master's degree in a mental health discipline
  2. Three years minimum post master's experience in the direct provision of clinical care
  3. Current and unrestricted license as a mental health practitioner at the independent practice level
  4. Maintenance of professional liability insurance at the level of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate
  5. Attestation/disclosure to the existence of prior sanctions or limitations to license, malpractice claims history, the existence of felony convictions, and the ability to perform the essential functions of an EAP counselor
